Pregnancy Care

Pregnancy comes with many changes — some are welcomed, many are not! During this time your body is adapting to your growing baby. Your hormones are rapidly changing to support you and baby as you prepare for labor and delivery.

Physical Therapy is a wonderful way to answer questions and concerns, and relieve pain that arises from your changing posture and base of support. We can also address Diastasis recti, incontinence and constipation, all common, but conditions you do not need to endure without care during pregnancy.

Addressing changes to your body that occur during pregnancy results in better outcomes during your birth as well as in the postnatal period. I am passionate about educating clients on best labor positions, properly preparing your pelvic floor and educating you on breathing baby out during the pushing phase. My training in holistic healing also helps me provide you with any trauma release necessary to be present and empowered for your pregnancy and birth.

Together, we can work on:

  • Labor and delivery strategies for vaginal and cesarean birth

  • Pushing phase education

  • Perineal massage education

  • Diastasis education and management

  • Pelvic girdle pain

  • Symphasis pubis dysfunction

  • Bowel and bladder Incontinence

  • Pelvic floor muscle evaluation and training

  • Postural training

  • Exercise guidance

The well-being of mothers is the fabric from which the cloth of the future of our society is made.
